Fly to Scouts

Our last pack night was so simple.  After and introduction and awards and such all the boys were entertained with a box or two of crayons and a ream of white paper and a how-to paper airplane book.DSC_0129 After their completed paper airplanes were decorated (if they got that far) there were a few contests like whose could land on the runway (a big rug from the church), whose could fly through a hoop and whose could circle around a chair.  Everyone had a blast.  And as a funny side note everyone one of my children won a prize from the “on-time” drawing – I guess it really does pay to be on time.

Abbie and Spencer were SO excited the next morning to try out Spencer’s butterfly kite from the drawing the night before.  It was a perfect wind and so they had quite a bit of fun without running around like crazy.DSC_0144DSC_0145

Simple pack meetings ROCK! How do you get your pictures so large?

I will have to share that idea with our pack leaders. Conrad even has that same book!
The kite is so pretty! I love ones that are something other than the traditional kite shape.
