Thinking of You
I love how the grey on grey turned out on this card! and the yellow is just the right amount of pop to make it so happy.

Birthday Cards
Just some fun birthday cards I'm making for the ladies at church. I'm really loving the bright summery colors on this first one.
And I loved the diagonal embossing so much on the first one I did it on this card too.

Happy, Helper Hero Dollars
My kids are going a bit stir crazy and need a little extra motivation to be their best. So I came up with the idea that in 2 weeks we will have an ice cream sundae party and they can buy small scoops of ice cream and toppings with their Hero Dollars. I’m giving them out for good behavior, happy chore doers, acts of kindness, etc. But I’m also taking them back for whining , complaining, and teasing others. Here’s hoping tomorrow is a springboard for a happy weekend.
Here’s the link if you’d like to download some to print yourself. And there are ten different ones so they can collect them all. :-)

Transformation Tuesday
I've been working on this bee card for a bit and was so happy with how the polka dot basics II circles seemed to fit in so perfectly. Although the focal point was really giving me fits. Here's the first draft...

Leaving it alone was the perfect thing. The next time I worked on this card it just came together. YEA! Much better!

Card Base: score at 5.5 and 2.75 (embossing top with large circles)
Black: 10.5 x 3.25 score at 4.5 and 7.5
Black strip: .5 x 3.25 (use 1/2 inch cut off top of black)
White front: 4.25 x 3
White inside: 3 x 2.75
Use 1 1/4 punch and 1 3/8 punch for the bee and pop up

Update for 2016
Hi Heather! I have updated this link for the first 160 scrapbook pages for last year. Ken has edited these and I’ll continue to add more as we get it done. I’m so excited to have a whole year almost ready to print in a book. And so far this year my goal is just to keep up on captions of the pictures we take and I’m actually doing really well. I’m to last Tuesday. Yea me! :-) Hope you enjoy the slideshow.
