Did another Stamp Day at my house this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, despite my family all having colds. It was fun to get together again.
On Thursday Jessie and I went to the Humanitarian Night for our ward. We learned how to make balls on the hat looms for little kids to play with. It was nice to be with Jessie and to learn a new skill. Hopefully we'll be able to make quite a few to donate to the humanitarian center. I finished one while we were there and brought it home. Spencer actually slept with it that night. So personal experience tells me kids will love them.
Today Ken and I went to a class to learn how to make mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, sour cream and ricotta cheese from the powdered milk in our food storage. It was really cool and I was really surprised at how good it was because I hate powdered milk. But now when I have to use my "long-term" food storage, we can make cheese pizza. Now tell me, who wouldn't be jealous of that?
