I got an email letting me know that Jessie's 2006 scrapbook is in the mail!! Yeah! I'm hoping it gets here on Monday or Tuesday. So I wanted to post some of the pages I've started for Spencer's book. It's going to be a 10x10 instead of the 9x12 that Jessie's is. I'll get Ken to make a little sideshow of it in the sidebar, because he's good at that kind of stuff.
We ordered a new batch of chicks two weeks ago and we're hoping they come in today. We'll have some pictures of them soon hopefully. We're getting two Buff Orpingtons, two Golden-laced Wyandottes, and two Wheat Marans. FUN, FUN, FUN!

What do you do with the chicks? Eat them - when they grow up of coarse?
Actually we keep them for eggs. The chicks we got all lay brown eggs. The Marans (which didn't come in yesterday) lay really dark brown eggs about the color of chocolate. It doesn't really matter what color the eggs are; they are all the same on the inside. I just think brown eggs are prettier.
