Ken wanted to take some “in the process” pictures of the wedding cake I made for his little sister's wedding two Saturday’s ago.
And just for the record, fondant of any kind is really not easy to work with. I’m so glad I could cover most of the mistakes with frosting. And I’d be happy to do ANY birthday cake after this, but give me a few 100 years to forget how much work and stress this was before any of you ask me to do another wedding cake.

What a process! It gets to be real work when doing a cake. But you did a GREAT JOB! It looks wonderful. You are doing better than I could have. WELL DONE.
That cake looks great. I've never gotten further with fondant than actually making it. The process of rolling it out to fit a cake has seemed too daunting. Instead we've had a couple of times where the girls got to roll it out like play dough and ended up eating most of it (I make it out of marshmallows.) Heather inspired me to take the cake decorating class at Michael's, so maybe I'll learn enough to do something like this one day.
WOW!! You always amaze me! You are SO talented!! Great job - the cake looks beautiful!!!
I think I'm going to hire you to do my kids birthday cakes!! I'll need one on July 1st!
Perfect! It looks awsome! You are so cool! Pat, Pat, pat (those were for your back!) I don't care what you say about the imperfections! It does look so awsome and WoWjust way cool!
It turned out beautiful! I can only imagine how much work that was, but well worth it I am sure!
