Another missing tooth, etc…

Abbie lost her second tooth on Jessie’s birthday.  I think Ken had to yank pretty hard to get this one out because it took about 10 minutes for the bleeding to stop so I could get a picture of her grin.  Can you tell she was so excited? The other tooth is already growing in behind it, so it’s a little hard to see, but it’s the one on the bottom right.

In other news, we babysat Jennie’s hamsters for a couple of days.  The kids loved it, but then again they didn’t get to clean out the cage at all.  Spencer was even better than me at catching them to put them into the little ball to run around in on the floor, and he only got in trouble once for getting them out without asking.DSC_0050 Our ward is getting some little pins that say “100% club” on them for the youth.  It’s to help encourage them to pray every morning and night, read the Book of Mormon for 5 minutes every day and to smile.  When Jessie and Mark heard about it they wanted to join in too.  It’s been a great thing.  Last night Mark told me he was finishing up 1 Nephi.  Way to go buddy!

Julie! In reading your blog I have to tell you that I was SO impressed when I was Mark's primary teacher. When we said we were going to ready the scriptures, even though he would have been 6-7 at the time, he was ALWAYS so excited to read the scriptures and was always willing to read them. Often when we would ask "Does anyone know the story about ___________" he would be able to answer. I am so impressed with Mark, and I think you guys are SUCH great parents!

Abbie, congratulations on the lost tooth! I Love the new shinny one!

It is cooler to watch someone else’s pet than it is to take care of your own. Kind of like it is way more fun to hold someone else’s baby than it is to change stinky dippers!

That is a perfect picture of Mark reading the scriptures, worthy of a frame.
