Jumpin' Jacks

Wednesday was a great day. We took lunch up and had a picnic with Ken at a park in Provo. We brought frisbees and had a blast chasing Spencer's wild throws. On the drive back home we stopped at Jumpin' Jack in Springville for the kids to play on the huge blow up toys. Abbie had been sick the previous day with really had stomach cramps but by now was feeling much better and had a great time chasing Becca around. Mark was a great brother and took her on the slides. She sat on his lap.

We did have one catastrophe while we were there. On Rachel's second ride her pinkie toe got stuck in a patch on the huge slide and we were afraid it was broken. She sat on a couch and held ice on it almost the whole time we were there. It was so sad.

That night some of our favorite friends came over for dinner. Corn on the cob, fresh biscuits with homemade strawberry jam, home canned pears and kabobs with chicken and squash. It was so good. While they were over the kids quotes a bunch of a John Bytheway tape and it was fun to listen to them. It started to sprinkle even though the sun was shining and when we went outside to give the corn cobs to the chickens the kids spotted this double rainbow.
