The number one most exciting thing that happened this week is Abbie FINALLY lost her first tooth. I swear that thing has been loose for over a month! Ken has tried several times to pull it out with no luck (I was in the other room of course, so I didn't have to watch). Wednesday morning before I got up he was finally able to pull it out and she came bouncing back to the bed room to show me. It was so stinking cute how excited she was.
It was also fun because Spencer was just as excited for Abbie. Later that day when we were running errands he even told the clerk who checked us out, "Guess what! Abbie lost her tooth today!" So sweet.

Abbie and Jessie's hair turned out so cute on Sunday. It was fairly simple, but looks way cool. It's just a simple knot with two strands of hair and then you add some hair to each strand and tie another knot. It was easiest to do when their hair was still nice and wet. (To help the knots stay in place you can tie a little band around one of the strands after you knot it-the strand on the bottom- if that makes sense. If not check the Babes in
Hairland blog on my list for a great tutorial.)

For
FHE this week Mark had activity and he's been dying to make this little volcano with vinegar and baking soda for weeks so that's what we did. Spencer was scared and wouldn't go close to it even though dad was nice and close. Even after he saw the eruption was more of an oozing he stayed over by me for a while.

Ken and the kids playing Sleeping Queens. We love this game!

After stamp day Abbie and Spencer wanted to stamp too and so I stamped some bees for them to color in with chalk and punch out. Abbie picked out their matching shirts to wear today and it sure has been fun - thanks Grandma!

After dinner on Thursday the
kids wanted to play dodge ball in the backyard.

Right now Mark, Jessie and I are in the safe zone so we could take a picture without getting out.

Noticing all the weeds in our yard, part way though Mark was trying to convince everyone to pull out just one weed
every time they got to the safe zone. What a helper. The only problem is that we have really
stubborn weeds and most of them only let you pull off the leaves leaving the roots in the ground.
Ahhhhh.....
