Here’s Neil enjoying dinner with us..he’s getting sleepy. 10 seconds later…he’s gone; and oh so cute too.Rachel cleaned up her room and brought my kids “gifts.” Their favorite was a bag of marbles. Since we didn’t have a playing area the kids got creative and decided that Abbie’s hula hoop was perfect – and it was! Mark and Jessie have even been waking up a half hour early to go down stairs and play before school. Thanks for sharing Rachel!
I really needed to take a shower one morning so I brought up a “new” toy for Neil to play with. He was entertained for about half the time and then whined at Spencer while I finished up. Spencer was a good sport and sang him How Firm a Foundation about a hundred times trying to keep him calmed down. What a sweet brother.
Abbie is our creative one when it comes to legos, tinker toys and magnetics…Here are the giraffes she made for/of me while I fed Neil. Can you see the resemblance? I’m the tall one. :-)
By the evening the giraffe family had grown… and I had shrunk. :-(
Trying to document the “daily” stuff… here is how Ken spends almost every evening at the end of the hallway….
First we say prayers, then scriptures, then a book (if it’s not too late or if Ken thinks I won’t notice). This particular evening it is My Father’s Dragon. We all love this book.
Sunday after church we are sometimes a little bored waiting for choir practice. Here’s a bunch of sillies each trying to hog the couch and the blanket. (Did you guess this was all “fun and games until someone pokes an eye out”?)Hey look the other top tooth is gone! and this one was late at night too – in case you were wondering.

That is so fun that your family gets to spend time with Rachel! She is such a good sister and Aunt!
So sweet of Spencer to sing to his brother! Karina loves to sing to Alexander too! I love it. Neil is so cute! I just want to smother his little face in kisses!
Love the giraffes! That is so creative! I would have never thought to make something like that!
