Christmas 2014

I think stockings is one of my favorite parts of Christmas. Almost like a pre Christmas show. And that's the part the kids can come down and look at and dumped out and play with while they're waiting for mom and dad to wake up. This year each of the kids got a special mug made just for them with pictures or words or things that they had done on it. Abbie also helped me finish up mittens for Neil Isaac and Emma. Because for the last couple of years Neil and Isaac have just been using mom and dads.

It's 12:48 a.m. and Santa is heading to bed.

Jessie, Spencer and Emma enjoying their stockings.

Abbie be showing off a new bag from Grandma Woodward.

And awesome zebra plate. I love this one.

Neil was so excited to buy a 4x4 Rubik's Cube for Mark.

Jessie always has the best faces in pictures. And this blow up globe turned out to be big just like I wanted it. And it's been quite useful and educational,  not to mention fun to throw around.

I think Jessie was a little tired of Neil trying to open up all of her gifts.

We seemed to have gotten quite a few pictures of the things that Neil got for other people this is Abbie's new Sudoku game in color. It has been quite fun for her to do.

We also got a new elements book this one is all about molecules. The author is quite entertaining which makes a very fun read.

Neil has been dying to have a wallet just like Spencer and Abbie got him one with the dinosaur on the front.

Jessie with her new BYU coat from Abbie, oh yeah go BYU.

Neil and Isaac love to help Mark practice his trombone. So he and Spencer bought Neil and Isaac their own horns to play.

Jessie got some onesie pajamas from Grandma Woodward all decorated with a frog on the bum, she laughed and laughed and laughed.

Spencer enjoying his new bungee chair.

Mark bought Neil some new Frog and Toad books. Frog and Toad are Neil's favorite.

Mark also made Spencer some constellation tags to put over the front of a flashlight. Emma thought maybe they were something to chew on.

We got our first real snow this winter on Christmas Day. The kids were so excited when Rachel showed up and offered to go sledding with them.

Abbie working on her new string art book.

Jessie borrowed Abbie's new drawing book that Mark gave her to doodle out some face parts.

Spencer got Jessie a game called Aztack.

Rachel, Becca, David, Lisa and Ella all joined us for a delicious Christmas dinner.

Mark and his new lumberjack pajamas from Grandma Woodward showing off his remote control helicopter (from Jessie). Unfortunately the pajamas shrunk in the wash and the helicopter didn't last very long before part of it got bent, but still good memories.

Jessie thinks “theze cookies are very delizious.” (How was that for a French accent?)

Abbie's finished product.

Emma and Ella are quite fascinated with each other.

The pajama parade.

And just so we can remember later Jessie also got some Harry Potter socks from Neil, calligraphy pens from Isaac and Voyage of the Dawn Treader from Mark.

Mark got a soccer ball from Spencer, Remember the Titans from Abbie, the game Karma from Isaac and a new fancy watch.

Abbie got the Dangerous Book for Girls from Spencer, another butterfly puzzle from Isaac.

Spencer got a build a dinosaur kit from Neil, rocket launcher from Isaac, and the game What’s It? from Abbie.

Neil also got a remote control car.

Isaac also got a rocket launcher from Spencer, playdough toys from Abbie, and a train lunchbox from Neil.
