It feels like we do this all to often. It’s 8:45 and we should be in bed, but everyone is starving…or so they say.

Got a lovely thunder storm this afternoon. Can you tell we were excited?
Then it started hailing and Neil ran in to tell me it was “raining rock salt!”
Rachel had her annual Harry Potter party and on our way up to drop off Jessie, Mark and Abbie Jessie serenaded us with all the Harry Potter songs she’s made up to Christmas carols. It was so fun to hear Neil and Isaac joining in too. Neil especially liked the “five dung bombs” part. Rachel had a Honeydukes candy store all set up in her living room complete with chocolate frogs in fancy boxes.

Spencer barrowed part of Jessie’s costume while I cleaned up Isaac so we could head back home.
Neil has taken to sleeping with Jerry Bear, a bear I got for my 1st birthday that I dragged around everywhere and took to college with me. It just warms my heart to see one of my kids lovin’ on him too.

Aunt Heather sent us these water bug bath toys with a little net to catch them. They are Emma’s new favorite chew toy.
Our good friends’ water broke at about 6 months and she was put in the hospital to keep her pregnant as long as possible. We got to have play days with her son several times while she was in the hospital. One time he brought Mouse Trap over to show Neil how to play. Neil was in total awe and amazement. They had a ton of fun.
The little boys love to help Mark practice his horn.
Getting my birthday present….a new screen door….was quite the fiasco…between the store not ordering it, it coming in on the wrong shipment late, and then it not fitting into the door frame….ahhhh… so here it is three months later. Yea, happy day when Ken and Scott got it put up!!! As the top section of the glass slides down it pulls down a screen that’s rolled up in the top of the door. So it can be all glass or have a screen. I LOVE IT!

Our very first trip to Costco…. after sixteen years then a small pop and the smell of burning electronics. Yeah, it's probably time for a new one. We went to the store looking for a new tv…the kids, Neil especially, couldn’t get enough of these huge stuffed bears.
Rachel brought down popsicles to share during one of Mark’s soccer games. So fun to be together!
Some nights are like this to get everyone to go to sleep.
