Neil and Isaac love to lay next to Emma and keep her company. They are such sweet brothers.

Another assignment from Jessie’s photography class.
Isaac shared these beads with Emma so she could have a crown to wear.
Mark’s turn to join the ranks with glasses. Doesn’t he look handsome?

March’s sibling date was King Kong Cones from Macey’s. At first when we got there I convinced the kids to just get a half gallon of ice cream instead – more ice cream about the same price. They were ok with that, but a little disappointed but were good at just being happy with it. A day later I’m thinking about the experience and reminding myself that it’s not really the stuff that matters, it’s the experience of doing something special together. So we went back to Macey’s and did what we set out to do the day before….get King Kong Cones. And it was a ton of fun.

Isaac loves to hold Emma…for about 45 seconds a couple times a day.

I made chicken pot pie at Mark’s request….and it was about the best I’ve ever made. Jessie made the pie crust for me then had to leave and didn’t get any. I’m not quite sure what I did differently, but the crust wasn’t soggy and the flavors were delightful and it was even fabulous as leftovers. Yum! And a few silly dinner pictures.

Quinn joined us for another fun morning while his parents worked on stuff for the new house they are building. Jessie didn’t go to school that day because it was reward day for good grades and she didn’t really want to see any of the movies they were showing. So she stayed home and played with us.
Scott and Ken’s friend Mike came over on a Saturday for lunch and some pool.
Jessie got her loin armor all ready for our FHE with Ken’s family.
Ken and I (and Emma) went on a date with Rachel and Becca and David and Lisa to Taconos to celebrate all the March birthdays. It was fun to be out and the different lemonades were tasty.
With the weather being a little bit warmer lately we decided to go up to the Provo Temple after church while we waited for Ken to get done with tithing. It was a little windy, and so a bit chiller than we thought, but also more crowded than we thought….what a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The blossoms on our apricot tree are so beautiful. I sent Jessie out to take some pictures of them and she won first place for this one in the “spring” contest for her photography class.
