Oreos, Candles and Day Camp

A little bit of FHE treats can be kind of fun…DSC_1002

One afternoon about half the neighborhood kids ended up at my house…and we had a blast together making little beaded creatures.DSC_1011 Abbie is so creative with the Magnetix – here is her 3-D Utah sculpture.

DSC_1014 And can you guess how many candles are on this cake…..DSC_1021THIRTY!!! how scary is that?  All day on my birthday Mark and Jessie kept telling everyone I was 21; it was rather sweet of them.   Abbie on the other hand was a giggly reminder that I really was 30.  She laughed every time she said she said, “thirty.”  But she’s so sweet that it made me laugh too.  My cake wasn’t fancy, but boy was it tasty, homemade chocolate zucchini cake with homemade fudge frosting!DSC_1032 DSC_1033 And here’s a few pictures of Day Camp.  Ken was able to go with Mark which I think was a ton of fun for both of them.  DSC_10381DSC_1039

Mark was SO VERY excited that his arrow went right in the bag!DSC_10591

The picture of the oreo's are way cute!
What a little thinker you have thinking of making the Magnetix into the shape of your state!
Happy Birthday! Thirty is not that old, it's OK. However, forty to me sounds way scary and oooollllldddd! and not too far off, thankfully far enough! The zucchini cake was very yummy. It is not fancy but simple is still pretty.
It looks like Mark had fun at scout camp! That is way cool! Good job shooting!
