3 Billy Goats
On Monday the kids were so excited to go down and see the goats. Jacob and Vickie came with us.
I'm not sure why exactly, but everyone really wanted a turn to hold the goats, not just pet them.

Jacob was good at getting the babies to jump up on his stomach by waving weeds in front of them.

The baby goat was a little big for Abbie.
We had a family party for Jessie and Ken's mom that evening. Mark and I were trying to decide what to put on the cake. We found designs for a wheelbarrow full of flowers and a cute angel. But no. Then I thought maybe we'd do something funny, so I tried lion heads on flower stems for "dandy lions." That didn't really come together either. So I sat at the table doodling on my paper and decided that would be perfect! To go with the chocolate flowers I wanted a pretty light pink. But when I mixed up the frosting I put quite a bit of pink paste in, (if you've ever tried making red frosting it takes half the jar to make it red) so I figured I was ok. Well it turned out hot pink instead and I didn't particularly want to make more frosting so I told Jessie it was hot pink for two hot ladies.
Even with two blowers it took a couple of blows for one of the stubborn candles.
